…but I just realized that Dave REALLY is a nice guy. I mean, at Valentine’s Day, he confessed his love to his crush (Kurt) and Kurt told him that he couldn’t date him because he was already in a relationship, but he also told him that instead they could be friends. At that moment, Dave was too crushed by Kurt’s response to think about it or to give an answer. But one week later, at the hospital (that was a week later, right?), David said that he really liked the idea of being friend with Kurt. Basically, he didn’t make a fucking story about friendzoning and he apreciated/enjoyed the fact that Kurt still wanted him to have a part in his life, that he could have a some close connection with Kurt. I know that that moment the situation was not the same as if it was just on a normal day without all the problems he had in his life, but still, if he wasn’t a good guy he could have acted like ” no, my manly douchebag feelings are too butthurt by the rejection of my love and it’s not useful to be friends because that’s not the kind of relationship I want with you sobbu sobbu “. but that’s not the case, he didn’t react like that.
I don’t know but it sounds like David is actually a good guy aka a decent human being.
