I can’t get the idea out of my head that, at some point, Phoenix defended Yomiel (from Ghost Trick) during his trial. He couldn’t get him completely off the hook, but got his sentence reduced to ten years in prison. Flash forward a bit… he’s lost his badge, and seven years into Yomiel’s prison time, Phoenix asks Yomiel for his help in the systems engineering for a program to test out the new jury system.
